Thanks to all authors for their high quality contributions. Also many thanks to the reviewers for their dedicated support and to all our sponsors who helped to make this conference a success.
The Solar Heating and Cooling for Buildings and Industry conference, a conference of the IEA Solar Heating and Cooling Programme and the European Solar Thermal Industry Federation (ESTIF), is the premier annual event for solar professionals in heating and cooling applications.
SHC 2015 was hosted by GÜNDER, the Turkish section of the International Solar Energy Society in Istanbul, Turkey. It led researchers, market specialists and industry to the bridge between two continents. The conference program brought together the latest developments in solar heating and cooling and highlight local market success.
A special Industry Day complemented the scientific program with topics such as new markets and products, competitiveness, and future trends. Turkey is the largest solar thermal market in Europe and solar is an integral part of Turkey’s sustainable energy roadmap.
